March 2021 Circular

Dear Colleagues, Friends, Members of the IEMFS,

When we published the call for papers a year ago it seemed even to us a very mad idea. And yet, thanks to collaboration of very many people, the special E. M. Forster issue of the Language and Literary Studies of Warsaw commemorating the 50th anniversary of Forster’s death has just been uploaded to the academia.edu website and is available for download here.

It will soon be available also from other sources (ResearchGate, Humanities Commons). You should be able to download it from the website of the journal some time next week and if you need individual chapters, they will soon be available here.

The journal now goes to print and if there are no hiccups, copies will be available for purchase in the Spring.

It has been a long and winding road but we made it together. Thank you so much for your efforts and, please, accept our apologies for anything that was less than perfect.

The deadline for submission for our conference has passed and we are pleased to informed you that over twenty participants have sent in their proposals. They will hear from us soon but there is still room for some more so perhaps it is the right moment for those of you who have not done it yet to consider joining us in June. The conference is open but we will appreciate it if you could let us know in advance if you are interested in joining us without a paper.

We all hope to see you all in June at our online conference!

Greetings from chilly but sunny Warsaw
Krzysztof Fordonski
